How do I create an account?

 

You can create a new account using Facebook, Google or simply by entering your details on the registration page. Make sure that no field is left empty and don’t forget to add your photo if possible. Landlords will feel more comfortable knowing they are dealing with the real person.

 

Do I need to provide personal information?

 

Only what matters! We need your names and contact information. We won’t share your details with any third party without your consent.

 

Will I receive telephone calls from the Landlords or Agents?

 

Emoh App is designed in such way that the Estate Agents cannot match suitable tenants directly or start communication with you on the Emoh messenger. Only Tenants can match suitable properties and start communication with the Agents. Agents will see your name and your description, but your contact details will remain hidden. It is up to you to give your details to the Agent.

 

The Landlords, however, will match suitable tenants and can message you via Emoh messenger. But again, your contact details are hidden and it is up to you to share them with the Landlord should you so wish. Your contact details are not advertised anywhere.

 

Please report to us, should you be contacted by an Agent who is registered as Landlord. This is strictly prohibited.

 

Do I have to provide my address?


No, you don’t have to provide your home address. We only need your email address, telephone number and country code.

How do I start searching for a suitable property?

 

Emoh is simple! Once you registered, click on the filter icon in the top right hand corner. Start with entering a general postcode (if you are in the UK) and click search. You can enter an area too such as Hampstead. Emoh is using Google search and will offer you more than one location associated with the postcode or area name. Chose one, which is most suitable. For example, if you searched the word Hampstead, you are likely to be offered various options - Hampstead High Street, NW3; Hampstead, NW3; Hampstead Underground, NW3. Option 2 is the most suitable. Select it and it will be added to your search filters. You can add as many postcodes or areas as you wish. To remove the postcode, click at the bottom of the search page and remove them. Emoh will match all the properties under selected postcodes and areas.

 

 

How can I view the properties?

 

Once you specified the filters and run the search, Emoh will place matching properties in two folders: Landlords and Agents. All the properties listed by the private Landlords are placed in the Landlord folder. All the properties listed by the Agents are placed in the Agents folder. Just click on the Agents and Landlords tabs on top of the page.

 

What are Favourites?

 

Favourites is the folder where all your ‘Liked’ properties are placed. From here you can view property details further, message the Landlord or Agent or delete property from Liked.

 

What will happen when I like/dislike the property?

 

Liked properties are placed into Favourite folder. Disliked properties are removed and will no longer be displayed to you.

 

How many properties can I see at a time?

 

All those that match your search criteria.

 

I like a flat and have spoken to the landlord. I can see that this flat is no longer available. Why?

 

Only the Landlord can mark a property as available or unavailable. If the property is unavailable, the most likely reason is that it has been rented out. Your communication with the Landlord is still open. Go ahead and ask him!

 

How much does it cost for me to use Emoh App?

 

It is free!

 

What is Tenants Fee? Who do I pay it to?

 

Tenant fees are charged by Agents most of the time and occasionally by the Landlords. The average tenants’ fee in the UK is £170 per person. You will pay tenants fee directly to the Agent, if applicable and we recommend this is clarified prior to entering any negotiations. We do not charge any fee.

 

Can I give out my contact details?


Yes! Feel free to exchange email addresses and phone numbers with Landlords and Agents. Emoh does not restrict your communication in any way.

How do I arrange a viewing of my property?

 

Just contact the Landlord or Agent and arrange suitable time to meet at the property.

 

Do I have to pay you a fee if I decide to rent a property via Emoh App?

 

Absolutely not! Emoh App is free to use.

 

What shall I do about references?

 

We will take care of this. Firstly, agree a deal with your landlord and ask to be referenced by Emoh. Email us on admin@emoh-app.com. We take it from there.

Do I have to provide property address?

 

Yes, you will have to provide the correct property address. The address is essential for Google address mapping. Only part of the address will be displayed for the Tenants though.

 

How many properties can I list?

 

You can list as many properties as you wish.

 

What shall I write in the property listing?

 

We advise you to create brief but detailed description of your property. State how many bedrooms and bathrooms and if the kitchen is separated or open plan. Is it in a block of flats or period conversion? What floor? Is the property carpeted or wooden floor? Try to state important facts. We advise you not to describe local area and local schools. Leave this to us.

 

How much does it cost?

 

It is currently free.

 

Can I see the tenants, who are looking for rental properties?

 

Yes of course. Emoh App is very clever! When a new tenant registers on the App and provides their property requirements, Emoh will match the Tenant to the advertised properties and place all suitable Tenants in the Menu->Tenants on the left.

 

How do I start communication with the potential tenant?

Just go to Menu->Tenants, click on the Tenant and send a message.

 

Can Tenants contact me?

Yes! Emoh will shortlist properties matching Tenant’s requirements. Tenants can send you a message via Emoh messenger. You will receive notification on your mobile, that there is a message awaiting in Emoh App. Tenants, however, cannot see your mobile number and email address in your Emoh profile. It is up to you to share this information.

 

Can I give out my contact details?

 

Yes! Feel free to exchange email addresses and phone numbers with your new tenant. Emoh does not restrict your communication in any way.

Just communicate with the prospective Tenant and arrange suitable time to meet at the property.

What shall I do about references?

 

Our team can help with that too! When you list a property, just select an option “Reference my tenant” at the end of property details. We will receive your request and contact you shortly.

 

Can you provide me with the tenancy agreement?

 

Of course! We will create a Shorthold Tenancy Agreement for your new tenancy. When you list a property, just select an option “I need a tenancy agreement” at the end of property details. We will receive your request and contact you shortly.

 

 

I am interested in full management. Can you help?

 

We are happy to help! When you list a property, just select an option “I am interested in full management” at the end of property details. We will receive your request and contact you shortly.

 

I want my property to be advertised on main portal. Is there such option?

 

Yes! Once more, the option is available at the end of your property details. Select it and you will be presented with in-App Payment. This service cost £29 per month for unlimited number of properties.

Our agency has different branches. How shall we register?

 

You can use one email address per branch. Each branch must be registered separately.

 

Do we need to provide our information?

 

Yes. Please provide all the details we request.

 

Will I receive telephone calls from the Landlords or Tenants?

 

Emoh is designed in a way that agencies details are displayed on their profile page, so yes, it is possible you will receive telephone calls from both.

 

Do I have to provide our address?

 

Yes, you have to provide your branch address and it will be displayed to the Tenants.

 

How many properties can I list?

You can list as many properties as you wish.

 

What shall I write in the property listing?

How do I start communication with the potential tenant?

 

Agents cannot start communication with Tenants. Only Tenants can initiate communication via Emoh messenger. If there is a message, you will receive app notification. Then you can respond via Emoh Messenger.

 

Can Tenants contact me?

 

Yes, tenants can send you messages, call and email you.

 

Are there restrictions in communications with the Tenants?

 

No restrictions whatsoever. Feel free to exchange email addresses and phone numbers with your new tenant.

 

How do I arrange a viewing of our property?

 

Just communicate with the prospective Tenant and arrange suitable time to meet at the property.
